C’est le fait ! Un exposition dédié au CORN DOG. Lieu le 8 mai chez Yugue. On a exposé les tableaux, les blagues, les erreurs et on a fait de la musique corn-dogienne.
We had a show called CORN DOG: 1/3 “Corn Dog 2013!”, 1/3 Corn Dog paintings, 1/3 Corn Dog Errors, plus a 100% Corn Dog concert.
En provenance d’un pays nordique, Peter Larsson vient nous visiter, et accrocher ses dessins et constructions dans nos cadres de l’hôtel.
En addition de ces œuvres plastiques, on présente une projection de ces courts métrages, bien sublimes.
And so we start this third year with the arrival of Peter Larsson. Like a blossoming cherry tree, Peter brings with him the promise of Spring. Images and constructions weeping from the fantasy of his imagination.
We present as well a collection of his short film animations, insightful & verging on magic.

Created in different locations (most notably during hurricane Sandy), the Exposition d’Hiver showcases the paintings, drawings & subtle humor of Satomi MATSUZAKI.
Alors, on se demandait qui il faut demander remplir les cadres d’hiver: quelqu’un de loin mais qui connaisse déjà l’hôtel, et voilà c’est avec de la joie que on présent, les dessins et peintures de Satomi MATSUZAKI.
Already familiar with the hôtel as a guest, Satomi will grace our walls with her work inspired by the theme of Fortune Cat: the waving feline, a sign of good luck.
Originaire de Tokyo, et maintenant de New York, Satomi expose son travaille sur le thème de “Fortune Cat” (le chat porte-bonheur).

We were happy to participate in the “Fanzine!” Book Fair in Paris. Here are a few photos of our stand:
en. What symbolises friendship more than sitting at a table and sharing a meal? «comment dire bon appétit?» is a collection of moments, of meals shared with friends from different cultures.
A pineapple becomes an ananas, an egg plant become a melanzane, but in the end we sit down and enjoy good company and good food: Bon appetit!

As summer turns to fall, our walls turn their frames over to Maïa Roger & the “Exposition d’automne” at the Hôtel Rustique. Maïa is known for her off-beat works usually involving food items or animals, but also sublime allusions to fairytales & myths.
So, come one, come all, to see the opening the 20th of September, 2012 from 7-10pm.

After our meeting during the Tour Rustique : FÄRGELANDA, we spoke about the virtues of visiting and playing a concert in Brussels. So, a week later, we had some guests at the Hôtel.
Ueno started things off nicely with an impromptu session of cuisine :
On est très content d’avoir la présence de M Jérôme Poloczek à l’hôtel pour cet été.
Très impliqué dans le projet Brugger et son travail personnel, M Poloczek, va faire exploser nos yeux avec son projet insolite estival.
As we await summer, we embrace the participation of Jérôme Poloczek the “exposition dété” of Hôtel Rustique. Jérôme recently made us “blink our eyes” at the gallery 10/12. So we decided that he would be up for the challenge to fill our frames for the sunny solstice.

Pour fêter le début de cette nouvelle année d’expositions, nous avons ajouté des nouveaux cadres et invité monsieur Pelpioch à les habiter de ses œuvres. N’oubliez pas que le vernissage commence à 19h et finit à 22h tapantes, mercredi le 21 mars.
